Dinner is Served
Each summer, Wolf Trap members have the opportunity to enjoy exclusive events at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts prior to specially selected concerts. Each Dinner and a Show event include an exceptionally prepared buffet meal by Wolf Trap’s Executive Chef, complimentary beverages, including canned cocktails, and Orchestra level seats to the performance.
As a member, you are are able to purchase this package for you and your guests as soon as the concerts are announced—no need to wait for your presale day—ensuring that you get a great seat to a memorable performance!
From the Garden to the Filene Center
You are likely already aware that Wolf Trap is the only National Park dedicated to the performing arts. But did you know that we grow our own produce during the summer months? Executive Chef Chris Faessen cultivates the Wolf Trap garden to provide a culinary experience that embraces the “farm to table” style, and prepares dishes onsite using ingredients from Wolf Trap’s backyard.
These memorable meals delight the palate, celebrate the flavors of the season, and foster community. The beautiful outdoor setting provides a perfect backdrop for the casual ambiance that makes these events so welcoming.
A Wolf Trap Tradition
The tradition of hosting pre-performance dinners dates back to Wolf Trap’s founder, Catherine Filene Shouse, who recruited volunteers to host “Theatre Parties” to realize her vision of casual-but-delectable dinner parties among close friends before enjoying a performance together at the Filene Center.
Now called “Dinners and a Show”, these special gatherings allow long-time supporters and new members alike to mingle in a relaxed setting, make connections, and build new relationships.
A Diverse Lineup of Exciting Performances
Each summer, Wolf Trap selects a variety of performances to showcase the broad range of excellent shows to match with pre-performance member dinners. Members may attend as many of the scheduled Dinner and a Show events as they choose. Family and friends are welcome too!
Join Us!
Dinner and a Show packages include your choice of Prime Orchestra or Orchestra level tickets to the performance and the pre-performance dinner. Prices vary per show. If you already have tickets to the show, dinner-only reservations are also available for purchase.
