A Celebration of Service

Thank you, 2024 Wolf Trap Foundation Volunteers!

Did you know that over 200 Wolf Trap Foundation volunteers worked over 7,000 hours this season? That’s more than 30 hours on average per volunteer! From the Filene Center to The Barns to the Center for Education, our volunteers help make Wolf Trap home for many audience members.

The Annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner is an occasion to gather and look back on the contributions of our friends in the community who make so much possible, so selflessly. At Wolf Trap Foundation’s Center for Education on October 9, volunteers and staff gathered to celebrate and recognize the hard-working 2024 volunteers.

Wolf Trap was founded in the spirit of community involvement and collaboration, as Catherine Filene Shouse envisioned a place for all to come together to enjoy the performing arts and the peacefulness of nature. Volunteers have been an essential part of Wolf Trap’s operations for over 50 years and continue to provide thousands of service hours annually.

Each year, Wolf Trap Foundation dedicates an evening to commend the outstanding individuals who generously give their time to further our mission.
